Practical Information
We have gathered valuable information regarding the practicalities when taking courses at SIMAC Training.
Signup/Registration
Information can be obtained and registration for courses can be done directly on MTDS's website or by contacting SIMAC Training’s course coordinator.
Once we have received the registration, the course participant will receive written confirmation from us. If the course requested is full, we will notify the person requesting registration immediately.
Payment
Private delegates:
We send an invoice immediately after receiving the registration. The payment deadline is eight days net from receipt of the invoice. Your course registration is not confirmed until the payment has been received.
Company:
The invoice will be sent upon course completion.
“The Danish VAT law stipulates that: "Course activities conducted for profit, primarily aimed at businesses and institutions, etc.," are subject to VAT. Furthermore, the VAT law determines that the place of supply for courses is in Denmark. Consequently, Simac must charge Danish VAT for courses conducted in Denmark.
Cancellation
If the course participant has to withdraw from a course, the cancellation must be done by e-mail to training@simac.dk.
If the cancellation is received more than 14 days before the course starts, the entire course fee will be refunded. If the cancellation is received between 7 and 14 days before the course starts, we charge 50% of the course fee, and for cancellation less than 7 days before the course starts, the full course fee will be charged.
Replacement
If a course participant is unable to take part in a given course, the person who booked the course may send someone else in his/her place at no extra charge. SIMAC Training’s course coordinator must be notified of this no later than the day before the course starts.
Certificate
All certificates are only issued electronically through IDSURE.IO
Lost course certificate
Should a course certificate be lost or damaged, we will gladly issue a new certificate. The price is DKK 500.00 ex. VAT per certificate.
Cancellation and date changes
We reserve the right to cancel a course, if we do not have enough course registrations. We also reserve the right to change course dates if necessary. This will be notified one week prior the course begins.
Catering
Lunch and coffee/tea with pastry in the afternoon is included for all participants during courses.
Study materials
All material needed for the course is only shared electronically for both online and on-site courses. SIMAC Training uses Microsoft teams and it is requirred that the participants have a computer, good internet connection, microphone and camera. If failed to do so, the participation will be cancelled and the registration fee will not be returned.
Accommodation
Accommodation is arranged and paid by the client/course participant. SIMAC has attractive pricing agreements with several good hotels in Svendborg and the surrounding area.
