Internationalisation

Our objective is to ensure that our graduates are ready for a global world and possess intercultural competencies, mastering English as a working language.

Our objective is to ensure that our graduates are ready for a global world and possess intercultural competencies, mastering English as a working language.

We are striving to improve our international cooperation and exchange programmes to provide both our local students and the exchange students with an international studying environment furthering intercultural competences as well as new opportunities for inspiration, personal growth and new experiences to benefit the students as well as the maritime industry employing the graduates.

To achieve this, we encourage our students to study abroad or have their traineeship in another country, perhaps combined with the bachelor thesis.

Some chose to study abroad because they want a specific context for a given course, want precisely this angle for their cv, some might know a company where they want to take their internship – some might want to develop specific personal or cross-cultural skills.

For each person there is a different dream. It is not your grades, but your ability to grow through the internationalization that is the core for determining whether we can assist you in fulfilling that dream. Application and assessment focus on your commitment, objectives and passion.

We also send our professors and administrative staff on exchanges and welcome lecturers and others from our partner institutions.
