Our objective is to ensure that our graduates are ready for a global world and possess intercultural competencies, mastering English as a working language.
We are striving to improve our international cooperations and exchange programmes to provide both our local students and the exchange students with an international studying environment furthering intercultural competences as well as new opportunities for inspiration, personal growth and new experiences to benefit the students as well as the maritime industry employing the graduates.
To achieve this, we encourage our students to study abroad or have their traineeship in another country, perhaps combined with the bachelor thesis. We also send our professors and administrative staff on exchanges and welcome lecturers and others from our partner institutions.
SIMAC holds ECHE (ERASMUS Charter for Higher Education) charter and complies to fully with all relevant regulation and policies. You can read more about the Erasmus Policy Statement here.
